SPIRASTIN - Water soluble powder
Each 1 gm of SPERASTIN contains :
- Spiramycin (as adipate).....…. 650 000 I.U.
- Colistin (sulfate) ………....….. 500 000 I.U.
- Excipients ………..…… up to 1 gm.
SPIRASTIN is a broad spectrum antibiotic used in cases of infectious disease caused by gram negative and gram positive bacteria , sensitive to Colistin and Spiramycin such as E.coli, klebsiella, Salmonella, Pasturella, Hemophillus, Borditella, Streptococcus, Staphylococcus, anaerobic bacteria and Mycoplasma,
-Poultry & rabbits: Treatment and prevention of respiratory diseases, E.coli infection and enteritis.
-Calves,& lambs: Treatment and prevention of respiratory and enteric infections.
Orally via drinking water.
-Poultry:100 – 200 gm of the product / 200 liters of drinking water for 2-5 days.
-Ruminants and rabbits: 1-2 gm of the product / 10 kg B.W. for 2-5 days.
-It is preferable to repeat the treatment course after 3 weeks of the last dose.
-Can be administer with vitamins.
-Hypersensitivity to Colistin.
Meat :
-Poultry: 14 days.
-Ruminants: 9 days
Eggs: 6 days.
100gm, 500gm, 1000gm.
Store in dry & dark place at 15-25° C.
